This home has an all white palette with muted shades of grey and pink. It screams high maintenance and it's muted tones might not be to every ones taste. The Interiors were done by former film set designers Roman and Williams whose claim to fame is the hip Standard Hotel in New York's High Line.
It's easy to see why Roman and Williams worked on designing movie sets with their playful furnishings throughout the apartment. The swinging chair in the living room adds a touch of fun especially as so many designers seem to take themselves too serious nowadays. One can imagine the Martins perched up on their swinging daybed while entertaining their A-list pals Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Moving on the kitchen breakfast room has a traditional diner feel with the booth seats and drop down pendants. Lilac upholstered seats and a floral wallpaper sets a calm scene for this room The Carrara marble worktops in the kitchen are one of a kind but the mind boggles how difficult it must be to wipe the food stains off the surface.
Finally the bedrooms seem a bit plain apart from the fairytale beds which more than likely belong to their children ( or maybe a guestroom?). The apartment might come across as a bit cold and sterile and it's in need of some personal touches, perhaps some art work to warm it up a bit.
