Lets be honest we all love to let our hair down and have a boogie. Both ladies and gentlemen enjoy partying in glamorous nightspots to see and be seen.
Whether you are in a hole in the wall boozer or a private members club, the interior always gives the location an individual identity and personality that makes it stand out from the rest. Perhaps the most important element to a night club is the lighting and the very best clubs incorporate some of the most creative and cutting edge lighting schemes to add the “wow” factor.

One of my favourites clubs was Kabaret in Soho, London which was a result of collaboration between designer David Collins, United Visual artists and cartoonist Jamie Hewlett. The mind blowing curved LED display and the Swarovski crystal covered bar was truly creative and inspiring for me. Sadly Kabaret has been shut for a while but I have very fond memories of the place.
Below are some other creative nightspots some shut down, which I find inspiring and I hope to be involved in creating a night spot in the near future. Feel free to add on other inspiring night clubs.
Gold bar / NYC / Robert McKinley
Dragon I / Hong Kong / India Mahdavi and the duo of Herve Bourgeois and Guillaume Richard

Boom Boom Room / NYC / Roman & Williams
